the breakfast could have more variety of food, I mean, seriously, it’s a hotel! also, the pool area was filthy, covered in bird poop the whole week, how hard is it to keep clean? The breathtaking lake and mountain views from the Junior Suite made for a stunning backdrop, and having a full-length window to watch the boats was simply fantastic. The direct access to water sports right at the hotel's doorstep added a nice touch to enjoy the surroundings.
Accessing downtown Lucerne can be a hassle without a car, with long driving distances and a ferry schedule that isn’t always reliable. The lack of a bar was disappointing, especially when the hotel's information indicated otherwise, and the maintenance of the swimming platform left a lot to be desired, as it wasn’t cleaned during the stay. Plus, the breakfast experience was less than ideal. it required a reservation to order freely, and the menu options for dinner were quite limited, which was surprising for such a well-positioned hotel.
